Launch in India with a team that knows the market and the money side.

Loopd.SI is an India-based AI build studio led by Chartered Accountants. We help AI and software companies that have no presence in India find their first customers, price for Indian buyers, launch a product that works for Indian users and set up the business side correctly.

Who it's for

  • AI and SaaS companies, usually Series A to D, with no entity, office or country manager in India yet.
  • Companies whose existing customers run global capability centres (GCCs) in India and keep asking for local support.
  • Products already seeing Indian sign-ups, or Indian competitors appearing in deals.
  • Teams selling into categories India is buying now: banking and financial services, GCC tooling, developer tools, healthcare, manufacturing and multilingual AI.

Why Loopd.SI

  • Led by Chartered Accountants.

Entering India raises money questions early: whether to sell cross-border or set up an entity, GST on cross-border software, FEMA and transfer pricing. We handle those alongside go-to-market, so the plan holds up with your CFO.

  • Tested before you spend.

Our applied AI lab tests positioning and pricing on simulated Indian buyers. Our engagement-letter study, which tested four fee-proposal versions on 400 simulated Indian business owners, was featured in MatrAIx's technical blog "MatrAIx In The Wild".

  • Builders, not just advisers.

We are an AI build studio. We can localise, integrate and test your product for Indian users, networks, languages and payment methods, not only write the plan.

India market entry: questions, answered.

01

Can a foreign company sell software in India without setting up an Indian entity?

Often, yes. Many SaaS companies start by selling cross-border. Indian business customers generally account for GST on imported services under the reverse-charge mechanism, while sales to individual consumers require the foreign supplier to register for GST. A local entity usually becomes worthwhile once you hire in India, need local invoicing for large customers or want to bid for regulated work. Take professional tax advice for your case.

02

How long does it take to enter the Indian market?

A focused GTM sprint takes about four weeks and ends with target accounts, pricing and a launch plan. Signing the first design partners usually takes one to three months after that, depending on the sector and sales cycle.

03

Does India's DPDP Act affect foreign SaaS and AI companies?

Yes. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to processing personal data of people in India in connection with offering them goods or services, even from outside India. Its rules were notified in November 2025, with most obligations phasing in by 2027.

04

Which Indian customers should a foreign AI company target first?

Usually the Indian GCCs of customers you already serve abroad, then Indian enterprises in banking, insurance, IT services and manufacturing, and developer-led adoption where the product suits it. The India Entry Snapshot names ten target accounts for your product.

05

How do you price a SaaS product for Indian buyers?

Indian buyers compare against local alternatives and expect pricing in rupees, often with annual billing and GST shown separately. We test price points and packaging by segment rather than applying a flat discount to your global price list.
